Horrocks helps organizations manage their assets through user-friendly geodatabases that can track, display, and update information via a GIS app. The Horrocks team also offers asset management services to aid in the operation, maintenance, and analysis of utilities. We provide various asset management options, including databases that are updated in real-time. Our GIS software solutions give clients and staff access to real-time utility data from any device and location. The utility data is searchable by utility, owner, location, SUE Quality Level, and other options. Our engineers and in-house GIS staff can create project-specific GIS, CADD, and 3D data models to effectively evaluate utilities. Data modeling allows stakeholders and project teams to test scenarios and visualize potential outcomes to make the best decisions for long-term project success.

Horrocks’ utility specialists have been certified through the National Association of Sewer Service Companies' (NASSCO) Pipeline, Lateral, and Manhole Assessment Certification Programs (PACP, LACP, and MACP). They have provided operational and structural condition assessment services for more than 5 million feet of pipe ranging from 6 to 120 inches in diameter and associated structures, such as manholes and culverts. Our expertise includes the inspection and assessment of concrete (RCP), lined concrete, corrugated metal pipe (CMP), vitrified clay pipe (VCP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe, asbestos cement (ACP), ductile (DIP) and cast-iron (CIP) sanitary sewers, storm sewers, force mains, siphons, and waterlines. Our manhole and vault expertise includes brick, block, and concrete manholes with or without liners. Horrocks can combine the operational and/or structural condition evaluations into a risk-based prioritization used for completing assessments and performing maintenance and pipe rehabilitation. This prioritization is based on local conditions and client needs, and includes factors such as location, size, importance, cost, and risk to the community in the case of a failure. Additionally, we can identify locations where there are potential risks of sanitary sewer overflows based on operation and maintenance (O&M) defects, such as debris and roots.
