Our team brings extensive expertise to the full suite of rail work, having executed projects for private rail-served industries and public agencies, in coordination with Class 1 and shortline railroads throughout the country. Our engineers are experienced in developing railroad track and terminals, obtaining railroad agreements and delivering solutions for vital connections to keep freight – and people – moving.

Horrocks is one of only eight consultants in the nation to be authorized by Union Pacific Railroad to submit private industry track designs, or review them for others. Building on a legacy of more than 100 years, our rail team has cultivated important relationships with both public and private entities, developing a thorough understanding of design in a wide range of rail sectors.
