PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT
At Horrocks, we are dedicated to enhancing community infrastructure through innovative engineering solutions. Pavement maintenance is expensive, and choosing where to spend valuable maintenance dollars can be a difficult decision. Public works officials, asset managers, city managers, engineers, planners, and other public administrators can benefit greatly from the services Horrocks provides. We are committed to supporting their efforts.

Informed Streets™, our proprietary, web-based software helps clients develop long-term Pavement Management Plans (PMPs), comparing client specific data against models built to prioritize and maximize budget funds, track conditions, and forecast pavement lifespans. Informed Streets users can track conditions and maintenance leveraging their Geographic Information System (GIS) data to develop PMP long-term strategies based on key variables that they control—available funding, plan length, projected inflation, and street type. Partnering with Cyvl.AI, a leader in machine learning and LiDAR technology, Horrocks gathers accurate pavement information to evaluate existing conditions.

Once a plan is developed, pavement data informs a real-time degradation model based on time, historic surface treatments, current pavement ratings, and preferred treatment materials and techniques. The system then provides data-driven planning by continuously modeling pavement conditions while allowing for fine-tuned adjustments at any time. Additionally, Horrocks uses Informed Streets™ to recommend the most cost-effective options available to preserve pavement investments by scheduling regular upkeep to prevent deterioration which provides the best value at the lowest life cycle cost.
