MULTI-USE PATH

Location: Elmer, WA
Horrocks assisted the Town of Elmer City to construct an approximately 2,000-foot-long by 8-foot-wide paved multiuse asphalt path to extend the existing pedestrian and bicyclist pathway system and connect to the Bureau of Reclamation trail system near the Columbia River. The project area was located on tribal land and subject to the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) and Solid Waste Disposal Act requirements. After obtaining cultural and environmental permitting, Horrocks performed design, bidding, and construction engineering and inspection (CE&I). The Town received Complete Streets Funding Program assistance, and the path was constructed along Elmer City Access Road to accommodate pedestrians and bicyclists.
