HIGHWAY 25 (CIDER STREET) SIDEWALK PROJECT

Location: Marcus, WA

Horrocks provided the design, construction management, and inspection of a 2,150-foot-long sidewalk system in Marcus, Washington. A town park, a focal point of community events, needed to be connected to the upgraded sidewalk system. Horrocks designed a meandering park path that now accommodates park events and connects to a separate sidewalk along the state highway. Horrocks also upgraded the existing sidewalk ramps at the north and south ends of town to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
